PARKS AND RECREATION

Emerson has three city parks located throughout the town.    

Emerson City Park is located on Main Street between 4th and 5th Street.  The City Park features a Fountain and Four corner Arches which are listed on the National Historic Register.   

They are a local attraction during the Christmas lighting season.  

The park has two picnic shelters, restrooms, playground equipment.  Located nearby is a RV Camping and the Emerson Swimming Pool .            

Aaron's Park is located on the east side of town on Nebraska St. between 2nd and 3rd Street.  

Aaron's Park has experienced a complete renovation thanks in part to a grant from Nebraska Game and Parks.  This addition includes: tennis and basketball court, new playground equipment and a picnic shelter.  In 2022, the Emerson Betterment Committee built a batting cage.   All of this recreational fun is located next to the Ball Fields.
