The Emerson Betterment Committee is a fundraising group within the village who is trying to provide Emerson with fun opportunities for the community to participate in while also raising money to donate towards projects to help improve the community.  Events held by EBC - Tri County Days, Family Fun Night, Emerson Park Christmas Light Installation, Christmas Light Competition, Annual Fundraising Banquet.  Projects we have donated towards - flowers on Main Street, Veteran's Memorial, Emerson Sports Association batting cage, Aaron's Park/Basketball Courts, and currently a new Splashpad to be installed at the Emerson Pool.
